A contoured lupin heat pack to relieve your lower back

Relieve lower back pain with our Lower Back Wrap Lupin Heat Pack. Microwavable and versatile, it offers natural heat therapy for muscle relaxation and pain relief. This product is made in Australia, odour-free, and long-lasting. Experience deep heat penetration and improved circulation for more effective relief.

When experiencing lower back pain, due to poor posture, injury, or other health conditions your mobility can be reduced, and discomfort is constant. Your lower back is a sensitive area where nerves and muscles can affect other body parts and your daily routine.

Our Lower Back Wrap Heat Pack is a specially designed heat pack to tackle hip pain and back pain utilising the benefits of heat therapy. By increasing the blood flow to the affected area, and delivering more oxygen and nutrients to the strained muscles – relief should be noticed immediately.

This Australian made heat pack will help promote healing and reduce stiffness, while enhancing flexibility and overall mobility. The soothing heat from the lower back heat pack also helps to relax tense muscles and alleviate spasms, which are common when experiencing lower back discomfort.

Specially designed lupin heat pack for the lower part of your body

  • Size: A large heat pack for larger body parts
  • Microwavable: Easy and safe to heat in the microwave
  • Dual use: Freeze and use it as a cold pack
  • Safe: No chemicals. Odour, allergen and fungicide-free
  • Soft: 100% natural cotton cover
  • Long Lasting: A better heat retainer than traditional wheat bag/heat packs

All-natural heat therapy with therapeutic benefits including:

  • Muscle relaxation: Heat therapy can work wonders in relaxing and loosening tense muscles. The heat promotes blood flow and circulation, which brings more oxygen and nutrients to the targeted area, helping to heal any damaged muscle tissue.
  • Pain relief: Heat therapy can help alleviate pain, including intermittent or chronic pain. It can be particularly beneficial for those with arthritis, muscle tension, or chronic back pain.
  • Increased flexibility: Heat therapy can help increase flexibility and range of motion. When applied, the heat can help stretch the soft tissues, including muscles, connective tissue, and adhesions, leading to improved flexibility.
  • Improved circulation: Applying heat to an area can stimulate blood flow and circulation. Increased blood flow delivers more oxygen and nutrients to the area, which aids in the healing process.
  • Stress and tension reduction: The comforting effect of heat can also help to reduce stress and tension, promoting relaxation and a sense of well-being.
  • Management of joint pain: Heat therapy is often used to soothe discomfort in joints caused by arthritis or other conditions. The heat can ease stiffness and make movement more comfortable.
  • Post-exercise recovery: After exercising, heat therapy can help to reduce muscle soreness and promote recovery by boosting circulation and aiding in the removal of lactic acid buildup.
  • Menstrual pain relief: Some women find heat therapy helpful in relieving menstrual cramps. The heat can relax the contracting muscles in the uterus, which can ease the pain.

A natural and effective healing

Lupins are widely regarded as a "low allergy" alternative to wheat. They are also odourless, and more resistant to moisture (to make cleaning easier).

Questions & Answers

All seed tend to have an odour when heated up. Lupin can have a slight smell of popcorn.
Sponge your lupin bag lightly with luke warm water to remove surface marks, being careful not to saturate product. Hang up to dry as soon as possible. When cover is dry, rub lupin bag briskly between your hands to ensure grains are dry. Do not tumble dry. Do not dry clean. Do not machine wash. Do not immerse.
We recommend that you initially just heat for periods of 30 seconds, checking the product each time and flipping it over. Once you have tried this a few times you can put it on for longer periods until you get to your required heat. It is important not to heat for too long in the one position at the start as each microwave has different amounts of power and heating rates. Lupin are a natural product and like any natural product will damage if heated to long.
While wheat is the traditional filler for a heat bag, we have found that lupin is lighter and maintains its heat longer than wheat, thus giving you a longer lasting product. Through our lab testing we have found that our lupin heat bags stay warmer for longer than traditional wheat bags. Our lupin heat packs are also 30% lighter than traditional wheat heat bags which means less pressure on your body.
The length of the product is 1.5m so it can fit well around a belly circumference up to about 140cm.
The lower back wrap is about 1.45m long so should be a good fit for almost everyone
The bag should stay hot for approx 10-15 minutes and warm for another 10-15 minutes I would say but does depend on temperature of room etc.
Best way to heat them is in microwave though can be used in oven if necessary. All our orders are guaranteed delivery and product is reusable as a heat pack and cold pack.
The width of the lupin part of the back hip belt will be 45cm.
They are reasonably soft as they just contain seed.
The yellow legume seeds of lupins, commonly called lupin beans, were popular with the Romans, who spread the plant's cultivation throughout the Roman Empire. Lupin or Lupini Beans are yellow legume seeds of the lupinus genus plant, and were once a common food of the Mediterranean basin and Latin America.
The difference in covers is the charcoal is a regular cotton so may feel a bit warmer on the skin initially as less material between you and the lupin. The blue product are a corduroy so feel a bit softer as the material is thicker.
The back wrap is 1.5 m in length. The heat bag section is 40cm x approximately 10cm at the largest part.
This product can be heated in a flatbed microwave, however, will need to be rotated and flipped over more frequently. This may also cause the product to take longer to be heated the whole way through.
Yes, these hip wraps can be used during pregnancy. The Velcro section is also adjustable.
The average heat time is estimated to be 15-30 minutes. This depends on how hot you heat it and which heat pack you are using as the larger ones will retain the heat for longer.
