Service Rating : I received my purchase in a timely manner and it was packaged well.

Product : I have mid back scoliosis. For me, this support works extremely well in the car, it's comfortable and supportive. It doesn't work quite as well in my lounge chair but that's a big ask and placing a firm cushion behind it increases the support to a point where it's helpful. Overall it's the best back support I've tried in 30 years.

Questions & Answers

For the car support I recommend a medium size back support. The full-size supports can often be too big for most new (and old) cars. My preference is the back huggar traditional back support. It is more rigid than the memory foam version (which I find better). If after a less robust support, then the memory back huggar would be a good choice for you. Both have removeable inserts to lessen the thickness if required.
The differences between the two products is the back form is concave in shape (ie provides a less rigid support which is less noticeable) while the back huggar is convex in shape and therefore a bit more rigid in support. The back huggar is probably the more popular of the two products but both serve their purpose very well.
Most of the time the memory foam version is used by those who would prefer a less rigid back support that is softer and better conforms to the shape of your back. The traditional version is more rigid in shape and gives a firmer support. Both are good but do have a different feel and the back support in the back huggar traditional will be more noticeable.
It really depends on the office chair that you have. If you have a full back chair, then I would recommend the Back Huggar back support for you. The traditional version will feel a bit more rigid (more support) than the memory foam (more comfort). If you have a half back office chair then you might be best going for a lumbar roll - with the D traditional version being by far the most popular.
We would recommend our Back Huggar for support behind your back and perhaps also our posture wedge for support while sitting.
The straps are approximately 60cms in length. We can attach a longer strap if needed. The order would need to be placed by phone and would take a couple of weeks.
I usually just recommend the D lumber roll in a traditional foam. It gives good support and is affordable and if you require something different/larger for your car then the lumber roll will be excellent for use on an office chair or somewhere else.
I think the best option would be the posture wedge as it will help with you posture by tilting your hips and should mean you sit up better and takes tension off shoulders and back.
The Dura Fab is a soft suede (and washable) and the Steri-plus is like vinyl.
The memory foam is softer and has a bit more "give" in it while the traditional foam will hold its shape more and be a bit more "rigid" in its feel.
Yes, I would recommend the Back Huggar Cushion (traditional foam and memory foam) or the Back Form Cushion (traditional foam).
