The Adjusta Wedge adjustable bed wedge will keep your body in a comfortable and well-supported elevated position while you rest. The two-part construction will allow you to change the angle of the wedge to any position between 15 degrees and 75 degrees.

Sleeping in an upright position is better for your stomach and your breathing

Elevation during sleep is an effective and natural way of managing many health issues. Prevent stomach acid from rising in the throat which eases conditions such as GERD, Barrett's Oesophagus and Hiatus Hernia by elevating your body position in bed. 

Breathing issues are reduced, as the airways are more open which can help with asthma, allergies, snoring and sleep apnoea. Head colds, congestion and post-nasal drip are also eased as elevation helps to drain mucus.

The Adjusta Wedge also provides lower back support by relieving the load bearing on the lower back while sleeping, convalescing in hospital or rehabilitation.

Inner: Do not immerse in water. Dab clean with a solution of warm water and mild detergent. Do not machine wash. Do not tumble dry. Dry flat away from direct sunlight.

Quilted Cover: Not designed for repeated washing. (To avoid damage to the foam from constant removal of cover, leave cover permanently and cover with tailored overslip. Hand wash warm water mild detergent. Do not bleach. Do not machine wash. Do not tumble dry. Line dry, warm iron. Dry cleanable.

Optional tailored over slip: Normal wash and Dry. Do not use chlorine bleach.

Service Rating : Love the pillow and would recommend it. However being a person who slept on their stomach nearly all their life it is taking adjustment. It is a great pillow though for elevating the top half of my torso which what I was after.

The Adjusta Wedge will support your back fully.
The weight of your head helps to keep the pillow in position, many use their own pillow.
You can sleep on your side on the lowest angle.
If the lounge chair is wide enough.
The product would do exactly what is required to help minimise pressure in your eyes by maintaining the elevation of the head while still allowing you to sleep comfortably. The adjusta wedge has the benefit of being able to change the angle as required so this product would be appropriate as well as the Contoured Bed Wedge. It is not a small item but packs away very easily in the one piece plastic bag that it comes in.
The cotton cover is available for the eclipse shaped part of the product and can be purchase on our website under accessories , product covers and slips.
The maximum weight is 100 130 kilograms.
The product is reasonably firm but not too firm as that would be uncomfortable. This product comes in two pieces and they are not joined therefore they can move during the night. We also have the Contoured Bed Wedge which comes as one piece which could be an option.

It should assist with any heart condition as you are raising the heart above the rest of the body so that gravity can assist the heart to pump blood around the body. It can be used in a multitude of angles so you should be able to find an angle that is comfortable.
The Adjusta Wedge will certainly allow you to sleep in an upright position and adjusta the angle.
The Adjusta Wedge weighs 2.35kg and is suitable for people up to 130kg.
Yes, you would likely use a pillow with this product, preferably something low, like the Naturelle Latex Low pillow for instance. You can just use your normal pillow at first to see how that goes as it should be just fine.
Having the pillow on one of the lower angles you may be able to sleep on your side but it just depends on how you find the angle. It has been used for side sleeping by many customers.
The pillow is displayed for illustration purposes and may be purchased separately. It is our Pregnancy Support Wedge cushion.
Both the Contoured Bed Wedge and Adjusta Wedge is suitable for back sleeping. The Contoured bed wedge is more comfortable for sleeping but the Adjusta Wedge has the benefit of several heights available for sitting upright to reclining fully. The pyramid pillow can also be helpful either on its own or with either of the other products.

The Adjusta Wedge comes in 2 pieces. The additional small pillow that you see on the lifestyle image is our Pregnancy Support Wedge found on our website under pregnancy and maternity pillows.
The Adjusta Wedge is a great all-round product and should help with shoulder issues (reading in bed was one of the design requirements).
We haven't made the Adjusta Wedge in a waterproof material, but we can do it if you would like. We can customise products to your or your clients requirements (we can do this with any of the products). Please contact us for more information.
Two of our products should be helpful for you. The Adjusta Wedge allows you to change the angle you sit on so that you can sit, rest and sleep in different positions. If you are looking purely at sleeping, then the bed wedge is probably the best option as the position is fixed.
The product is 61cm wide and the length of the back support part of the product is 70cm.
This item does not come with the product it's an additional cost. It's called the pregnancy support wedge ($59).
I would recommend the Adjusta Wedge for the bed rather than the couch, although you could try it. Perhaps look at the pyramid pillow.

We would suggest the Adjusta Wedge or even the Pyramid pillow for your recovery.
The pillow in the image is not included and any pillow you already have will be suitable to use with this product. We find most customers prefer this option for shoulder surgery recovery as this support is more versatile.
The Adjusta Wedge only comes with two pieces. This is outlined on our website and the pillow you see pictured under the model's head is not included with the set. It will come with a quilted or a Steri plus cover.
