Designed for elevated comfort, the TheraMed Side Reliever aims to reduce pressure on back, ribs & heartburn symptoms. High-density foam prevents flattening, while the memory foam layer moulds to your shape. Australian-designed for maximum support during side sleeping.

The TheraMed Side Reliever is a full-body support pillow designed to give comfort and elevation while at the same time moulding to your shape. The TheraMed Side Reliever is designed to take pressure off your back and ribs and will help to relieve the symptoms of heartburn. Integral to the design of the product is the low indent/curve that allows your arms to rest and your shoulders to sink into the pillow which will reduce any pressure points while you sleep. The angle the pillow puts you on will maximise comfort for those in the third trimester of pregnancy when sleeping on your side is integral.

The Side Reliever is made using a base of high-density traditional foam designed to give your body the comfort and support that it needs. The traditional foam will prevent flattening and hollowing out of the product for ongoing support.

On top of this high-density foam core is a layer of memory foam designed to allow you to mould into the product for maximum comfort in the side sleeping and resting position. All these features make the TheraMed Side Reliever, the best bed support for side sleeper position.

The Side Reliever is a product born out of necessity by Felicity Cramp in 2016. Felicity, after suffering with heartburn day and night during her pregnancies, wanted to help other Mums get some well-deserved rest. From the five to six pillows Felicity used during her pregnancy to help her sleep, she produced the design for Real Relief. Real Relief is a full body support pillow designed to help relieve heartburn and take the pressure off one's ribs and hips during pregnancy. Both Felicity and Therapeutic Pillow Australia are proud of the product they have designed and manufactured and are extremely pleased with the feedback from those that have benefited from the Side Reliever.

Product : This reliever support has changed my sleep for the better. I get up in the morning being able to get around with ease. So good I bought a second one to leave down at my daughters so it's there whenever I go to visit. Best thing I have ever bought. Can't recommend it enough.

I have a back problem and need to sleep on my side would this be suitable as I cannot sleep on my back yet.

The side reliever support wedge cushion encourages side sleeping. It may assist with your back problems. We advise you to measure the sizing out on your bed prior to purchasing as it is quite a large item. The measurements are: Length: 120cm, Width: 70cm, Contour: 20cm high midway across product, Dip in contour: 18cm. Quilted Cover Cotton with Polyester Wadding. High Contour 31cm at maximum height.

What is the most popular pillow for spine and chronic lung problems?

The contoured bed wedge is the most popular option for respiratory conditions. It is comfortable for side and back sleeping.

I suffer from severe gastric reflux and my doctor has recommended that I elevate my bed. I can't do that so I am thinking that a wedge would be the best things for me. I am a side sleeper. Which product from your range would suit a side sleeper needing a wedge for gastric reflux relief?

This would be the product we would most likely recommend. It does take a little getting used to and is quite a large product but the feedback we have received has been really good regarding the reflux and side sleeping.

I am predominantly a side sleeper, but sleep occasionally on my back. Can you sleep on your back on this pillow? Also, I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine.

We don't think it is really suited for back sleeping, to be honest as the angles not quite right. We would recommend giving us a call and we can see what might suit but would lean towards the bed wedge with the insert removed to lower the angle. You should be able to use it with a CPAP machine so long as you have a pillow that suits you.

Does this product contain the chemicals fireretardents mould and bacteria inhibitors such as those in the Dunlop products which all include Ultra Fresh?

Yes, all of our foam products contain ultra-fresh which is a bacterial inhibitor. The products do not contain any fire retardants. All foams are produced in Melbourne.

I have CHF, Gerd , most troublesome pain while sleeping is arthritis in both shoulders and get pins and needles in hands. Would this pillow offer relief for shoulders also.

The contoured bed wedge is more popular for these conditions.

I am a male looking for relief from reflux is side reliever suitable or is it more for pregnant females? Other elevation wedges can cause hip pain.

Our contoured bed wedge is the most popular product for those with reflux, male or female.

Is the side reliever suitable for males with reflux?

The Contoured Bed Wedge and the Adjusta wedges are the two most preferred options for those with reflux. The Bed Wedge is the most popular for sleeping whilst some prefer the flexibility of the Adjusta Wedge.

Can I also sleep with this pillow on my back?

This product is more suited for side sleepers.

What pillow would you recommend someone keen to sleep flat not on either side as they have just had surgery?

We would suggest a full body support pillow to position you on your back while sleeping. The Bed Wedge and Adjusta Wedge supports would be the most suitable.
