Service Rating : The product came fast, under the specification of the buy. No issues on the payment process, and website is easy to navegate thought to fin what you need.

Product : I could finally find a pillow that provide a comfortable support and one that is tall enough to rest my head straight one I am sleeping side ways.
As my shoulder edge distance to the neck seems to be longer than most pillows height.
Perfect for side sleepers, and good that is adjustable as well if you need to reduce the height.

Product : I love this pillow I have no trouble with my neck when I use it and I have used this type for 3 years and previously had another from the company and then i ordered the wrong one being this one and have been even happier with it i now don’t have to visit a chiropractor more once a year now because of the right fit for my neck and firmness.

What is the percentage of natural (not synthetic) latex in the pillow?

The pillow contains 93-94% pure latex and the balance is synthetic latex.

How do you work out which size pillow is the right one for you?

Generally for females we recommend the low size in the naturelle, most males the medium size and the high is for the really larger framed people.

From the reviews, I'm assuming that the Latex Contour pillow is on the firm side, is that correct? I am used to a soft latex normal pillow, so I'm concerned that this latex contour one will be too firm?

I think it is slightly on the firmer side rather than soft. Gives good support and I don't think too firm but definitely not as soft as other products in the market in latex.

Are your pillows non toxic?

Yes, our pillows are non-toxic.

I snore what pillow would you recommend?

We normally recommend the complete sleeprr deluxe pillow. It is quite rigid so will support your airways nad encourage you to sleep on your side which is generally the best way to minimize snoring. Also is adjustable so you can change angles to suit your requirements.

What is the best pillow for a neck problem?

We would recommend a contoured pillow for optimal neck support. It is a personal preference as to whether you prefer memory foam, traditional foam, or latex pillows.

I'm not sure if I need low or medium and need to make sure my pillow is just right due to recent cervical injury.

They all come with an extra layer of latex which can be removed to lower the height so if not sure I would probably recommend the low for females and the medium for males as a general rule.

I have been using one of your Naturelle latex pillows for quite a few years now. I've noticed that it seems to be molting some hard, brown bits and having an odd odour. Is this the latex rubber inside disintegrating?

The latex will crumble over time but we are not aware of any odor issues with this pillow. We think it is probably time to retire the pillow. They are compostable.

Does the Naturelle Latex Contour adjustable pillow come with a pillow case. Also can I order a spare pillow case and if so, how much is it?

The Naturelle Latex pillow comes in a polycotton leaf patterned zippered cover. We suggest a pillow protector over the top and then a pillow case. We sell extra covers $17 RRP.

What is latex?

It is the milk (sap) from the small tropical tree Heavea Braziliensis found in Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. It is harvested by tapping this tree, and is a sustainable and renewable resource. No chemicals are needed to stabilise the rubber, and the intrinsic color is also retained. Our latex is non-toxic and contaminant free, its natural properties inhibit bacterial and fungal growth, and it provides and inhospitable environment for dustmites.

Do the measurements of the height of each pillow size in the photos, include or exclude the extra layer ? i.e. is the low profile 10.5cm without the extra 2cm, so it is actually 8.5cm ?

The specifications state without the 2 cm layer, thus the low is 10.5 and 9.5 cms. Add the layer and the height becomes 12.5 and 11.5 cms.

Do you use the Talalay process on your latex pillow?

We find the Talalay process a little soft for support so we use the Dunlop process for all of our latex pillow production. Talalay is very good but just not suitable for our requirements.

Isn't the latex hot to sleep on?

Some people find them a bit hot but for most it is not really an issue. If very temerature sensitive you might be better off with a more open traditional cell foam pillow that will allow air to move through the product and being of less density or mass they should retain less heat.

Wondering if a person with an allergy/sensitivity to rubber would get an allergic reaction to the naturelle latex pillow. If so is there any other particular product that would be more suitable?

The Naturelle pillows are hypo- allergenic and chemical-free.

I have just purchased this pillow. My question is that it seems to be hot whilst sleeping? How do you alleviate that issue?

Am i supposed to sleep on the lower side or the higher? Or it doesn't matter?

It really doesn't matter either way as the contour will support your neck on both sides. Just choose the side that is most comfortable and that will be the best option for you as it will encourage you to use that pillow.

What are the pros/cons of latex vs your sleeprrr foam pillows?

Latex is as close to 100% natural as possible. The Naturelle contour pillow has a more gentle contour than the Complete Sleeprrr foam pillows. It is longer and has a smooth surface. Both pillows are adjustable. It will come down to personal preference.

Does the latex belong to Talalay Latex?

We use the Dunlop process, not the Talalay process. The Dunlop latex is a higher density and firmer than the Talalay latex.

I was wondering how often you recommend replacing the pillow for maximum benefit. I`ve had mine for quite a number of years now and I think it might be time to buy another.

We normally recommend changing over the latex approximately every 5 years approximately but they can often last a good deal of time longer if used with a pillow protector. It is mainly moisture that will break down a pillow so might be a little less long-lasting in more humid climates.

What is the best pillow for camping for a stomach sleeper?

If on your tummy you want as low a pillow as possible but also somethig with a bit of support that wont squash down to much as you are campling. We would recommend the naturelle latex low pillow. You can remove insert to have it quite low and being latex it should hold its temperature ok in cold temperatures when camping.

What's so special about your Naturelle latex pillow?

Our Naturelle latex rubber pillow contains hundreds of tiny cores within it to allow air to flow for a more hygienic sleep environment. These cores averaging half a centimeter wide, also enhance the pillow's luxurious feel.

Is your Naturelle latex pillow contoured?

Yes, the contour is quite mild in fact. One side is slightly higher than the other to best give you the option of using the side to suit your comfort and support requirements. The contour allows your neck and head to be evenly supported, thus encouraging the natural alignment of your spine during sleep. Better posture for a more relaxed sleep!

Why should I choose a latex pillow over a Memory foam or a traditional foam pillow?

It's a matter of preference. You may like the feel of Memory foam, or you may prefer the options of conventional foam with our Tranquillow range. The Naturelle latex pillow is, quite simply, a natural product and has a wonderful feel to it. It's a tough decision. We can only suggest that you search through our total pillow range and you will find your optimum pillow.

What is the product warranty?

The Therapeutic Pillow International (TPI) WARRANTY covers manufacturing defects only. That is defects that can be definitively attributed to the manufacturing process and not those occurring after the product has been opened by the consumer. Also, once a product has been used, Government health regulations prohibit return and/or refunds.

Is there a guarantee of pillow comfort, support and longevity?

TPI does not provide GUARANTEES about product comfort, support, or longevity. Our company will discuss individual queries with consumers, and if there is seen to be a legitimate case we will work together to provide customer satisfaction. This may result in a recommendation and sale of a more appropriate type of pillow which may be offered at a lower-than-retail price plus freight. There are no definitive guarantees.

How long does is take to become adjusted to sleeping on an contoured pillow?

First night. In some cases, however, the sleeper has gotten used to sleeping in an incorrect position for so long that the correct position may feel a bit strange at first. This should correct itself within a week or two, allowing your body to rest properly.

My friend uses the naturelle latex pillow and has highly recommended it for me. I have neck problems. I'm just not sure what size to get..?

Normally the medium is the product we always recommend unless you are very slight and only sleep on your back (you would use the low in this case) or if you are larger framed and predominantly a side sleeper (high version).

I have a very sore neck and sleep on a rather low pillow I can't use a high one is the low one good? Does the rubber smell?

There may be a very slight rubber smell to the latex pillows (as they are made from pure rubber from the rubber tree) but this should dissipate very quickly. If it is an issue a wash of the cover and leaving the pillow in an aerated environment for a day should get rid of any lingering odor. It is rarely an issue though.

Is there a guarantee period? Is there a difference between your latex and a synthetic blend latex?

Synthetic latex is a synthetic blend that is used to mix with the latex to get a slightly different feel. It can be up to 50% of the product from some suppliers. We have a 6% synthetic latex blend which we find gives the product a better and more consistent feel throughout. We would expect pillows to last 3-5 years on average and we replace them if there is a fault or if you don't like the pillow you can just return it to us for a refund less initial freight.

I usually sleep with two pillows would I need two of these? Or would I just need the biggest one?

We would recommend getting high and we can put in some extra inserts to make the product higher so that you can have it higher if you need it.

How do you know which size is best?

It really depends on your size and how you sleep. Low is best for tummy and back only sleepers medium is best for those that sleep on the back and side and are of medium build. High is best for anyone above a medium build who sleeps mainly on their side.

With regards to the medium size Naturelle latex contour pillow - how high is the lowest part of the pillow from the side view. That is, the scooped section between 12cm (high side) and10.5cm section(low side)?

The dip in the latex pillow measures out at approximately 9.5 cm.

Can your pillows be washed?

The outer of the latex pillows can be washed but generally, we do not recommend washing the latex foam itself. Also, there is the inner cover that is non-removeable which would need to be cut if you were to wash the latex inside. The best way to keep the pillow clean we recommend using the Naturelle pillow protectors which will stop any perspiration, dust mites, etc getting into the pillow.

Is the Naturelle Latex pillow treated with any chemicals at all, for example fire retardant?

The Naturelle latex is not treated with an added fire retardant. It is approximately 92% pure latex with the other 8% being synthetic latex. Synthetic latex is an oil-based product comprising mainly of polyol and is in all latex products as it is designed to help with the foaming of the product and also to provide an even feel to the product in regards to no lumpiness or soft spots. It will also extend the lifespan of the product. 92% is about as high a purity as you will find. Please contact us for more information.

I have snoring problems and possibly sleep apnea. Was wondering if you have any pillows that are NOT made out of memory foam that would help me?

The Naturelle latex pillow is not memory foam and the contoured shape should help you to sleep and rest in a comfortable manner with the support helping with sleep apnea and also snoring.

How soft is this pillow? I'm looking for an extremely soft, giving pillow that is low profile, and every pillow I've tried so far (I think I'm on #11) that has said "soft" has been far too hard.

If you are looking for our softest pillow I would recommend the complete sleeper gel blue pillow which is our softest pillow and I would recommend removing both the inserts to lower it so that you can sleep on your tummy.

How long does the Naturelle pillow last for?

Generally, we say around 5 years is a good amount of time for a pillow to last. They will all soften over time but generally, 5 years is about right for maximum support.

How do you choose the height?

The height options for these pillows are a personal preference and differ between customers. We typically suggest the low and medium profiles for smaller framed customers and the high profile for those that are broader. They all have a removable 2cm layer as well if they need to be adjusted.

Can I recycle my old Naturelle pillow in the green bin or other?

Unfortunately, as this product is not 100% recyclable it would need to go in the general waste bin. We are currently investigating alternative foam recycling options however; it is not something that is available for all foam options.

I purchased your medium Naturelle Latex Pillow from Elsternwick Family Chiropractic. However, it's not suitable for me. The latex is too hard and made the neck and shoulder pain worse. Am I able to return it to you guys for a refund?

Unfortunately, as this was purchased from a third-party stockist you will need to return this item to that clinic for a refund or a replacement. As your financial transaction was not with us, we won't be able to arrange a refund.

I've tried 5 different pillows trying to find a comfortable one. I am 74 with a short neck with arthritis. I need a very low pillow and use a duck feather pillow that I can mould but of course, it packs down during the night. So, looking at Low profile latex. Would that be my best option?

We would suggest the latex low or alternatively, the family low is another option.

Does the pillow have a thin cloth cover over the latex, under the thicker cover with designs on it?

Historically no, this product only had the leafy cover over the latex foam. We have checked our newest delivery and they do now appear to have a thinner cloth cover underneath the leafy cover.
