Can you use this if you are a side sleeper?

Unfortunately as this product is designed to provide relief when on your back it is not recommended for those that are side sleepers. There have been customers that have found it to be suitable however it is not guaranteed to provide relief in a side sleeping position. We would recommend the Side Reliever support for those that sleeping in a side position.
